Following on from our appearance in the Association of Photographers' Open Awards at the end of this month, we're proud to announce our participation in another event. This time it's the Portrait Salon, a new initiative designed to exhibit the best of the unselected entries from the National Portrait Gallery's Photographic Portrait Prize.
 
The Portrait Salon sum up their raison d'etre neatly: "We figure that, out of the 6000+ rejected entries, there are excellent portraits which deserve to be seen." With this in mind, the organisers have secured sponsorships and Arts Council funding to publish a newspaper and project a slideshow in venues in London, Leeds, Cardiff and Brighton. And we're in it with this photograph.
